Chatting Commands
While in the rooms you will notice that on the java interface there are many different commands for you to use. For example if someone is annoying you, you may right click and ignore the user. Below is a list of some of the commands that you can type into your text box. All commands start with a forward slash (/) and the nickname i shall use for the examples is john-smith who ip is 123.123.123.* Remeber when using IPs you only use the first 3 octects and ignore the 999 octect and replace it with a *.
Ignoring a User
There are two ways to ignore a user, either by typing /ignore nickname (/ignore john-smith) or by using a users IP, this works out to be more handy if the user changes their nickname often! This is used by typing /ignore ip (/ignore 123.123.123.*)
Removing an ignore on a member
To remove a ignore on a chatter you type /ignore -nickname if you ignored there nickname (/ignore -john-smith) or if you ignored there ip /ignore -ip (/ignore -123.123.123.*)
